The HUMAN Network INDIA (HNI), founded in 1990 and was registered on 03rd January, 2007, as a Non - Profit Trust under the Registrar of Assurances and Companies.

Having seen the plight of the poor people particularly of the rural areas of West Bengal from different perspectives, some people felt the need for having a forum through which some actions could be initiated to address the immediate concerns of the rural poor and the SMEs. It was very clear to these people that any intervention to address the problem of the society cannot be one time activity or anything alien and borrowed from outside. With this perception, HNI started its journey.

Its founder members were distinguished administrators, academicians, judges, social activists who were also well known personalities at the national and international levels. HNI is running by painstaking scientists and professionals hailing from various layers of our society. HNI is working as support organization for helping SMEs to effectively utilize Innovation and Intellectual Property Asset tools.
